DUSSERA

Voxpop International School leaves no stone unturned when it comes to celebrations. Just before the school closed for Dussera vacations they celebrated Bathukamma festival which literally is a call for ‘Mother Goddess to come alive’. It was celebrated with grandeur in our school premises. A vibrant and colourful floral arrangement which was stacked in a conical shape was beautiful sight in itself and was prepared by the teachers. They also performed a folk-dance circling around it which symbolizes the circle of unity, love and sisterhood. There was also an online celebration meant for the parents and children who were encouraged to share their childhood memories associated with the festival in which most parents participated very enthusiastically.
